B.S. Computer Science — FIU, Dec 2024

I'm Sebastian Galloway, a Computer Science graduate from Florida International University and an IT Software Developer Associate at Progressive Insurance, where I build and support large-scale enterprise software systems that impact thousands of users. Since June 2025, I've contributed to SQL data pipeline development and a major migration from legacy claims systems to a modern policy administration platform. Alongside my full-time work, I'm pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction at Western Governors University, which I began in July 2026.

Outside of work and school, I'm developing Pyramids, a gamified productivity iOS app built in Flutter and Dart that turns tasks into a roguelike dungeon. I also co-coached three VEX robotics teams at Sagemont Preparatory Lower School from November 2025 to March 2026, helping advance all three teams to the Florida State Championship Tournament and earning Mentor of the Year.

Above all, I'm passionate about building meaningful, human-centered technology that improves lives, working in diverse teams, mentoring others, and making a positive, lasting contribution to the tech industry and communities around me.
